The work begins there. A figure returns, not quite whole, willing to speak with whoever stands before him. He carries fragments of his voice, the smell that reminds of his beloved. Whether these belong to him, or to no one, is a question the work does not answer.
A shadow needs a body to fall in. Its shade.... outlasts it.
